VETOGA All Levels Donations Workshop
Monday, May 30th, 2016 at 6:00am
532Yoga
532 N Washington St, Ste 100
Alexandria, VA 22314Marine Corps Veteran, VETOGA founder and 532Yoga teacher, Justin Blazejewski, will lead this all-levels yoga class to show our support for our military, veterans, and their families.
***FREE for all military and veterans***
All levels Dharma Flow - We will start with a challenging Yoga class available to everyone. We will stretch, breathe and cultivate our connections with body-heart-mind-spirit.
Class will conclude with a deep relaxation; Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra takes you into a deep relaxed state where you are guided to move your awareness through different parts of the body, unleashing the power of healing from deep within the unconscious and allowing you to release and let go of everything in your life that no longer serves you.
This is a donations based class for all. Please come and support VETOGA and their mission:
VEToga’s mission is to provide yoga, meditation, and healing arts to military, veterans, their families, and communities. We accomplish this by holding free monthly yoga classes, events and veteran specific 200-Hour Teacher Trainings throughout the year. VEToga is a non-profit based in Washington, D.C. VEToga seeks to build sustainable communities by bringing the healing aspects of yoga to veterans, their families, and communities. We provide access to a range of healing modalities to facilitate healthy minds, bodies and spirits. Sustainable communities are created through our 200-Hour Teacher Trainings. Teacher Trainings equip veterans with the holistic tools and teachings to continue to pass on the healing power of yoga.
VETOGA: seeking to build a supportive community of both veterans and non-veterans, and to provide an opportunity to experience a wide variety of the Healing Arts.
This is a free event to all service members, veterans, law enforcement, emergency responders, and their families, although donations will be accepted and gratefully received ($10, $20, $50). All donations are tax-exempt.
